It's my first post!

I've been setting up a personal site again (it's been a while since I've created one of my own). It seems like robust free solutions are easier to come by today than they were 20 years ago.

I was able to get this up and going in about a day, so it doesn't look like much yet. I'm working with just an Android device and some popular services on the backend to make things easier. I'm trying to keep the site lightweight and simple and also free to host. I like doing much of the coding by hand, but that may change if the complexity increases or I just need to automated things.

For now, everything is working out just fine. I'll try to improve over time, but I'm not really trying to accomplish anything specific with the site, so it will get attention when i feel like it. Regardless, thanks for reading!
